Travis is an Associate in the firm’s New York office and a member of the Firm’s Capital Markets Practice in the areas of securities law, public offerings, and securities law compliance. He assists public and private companies in their corporate transactions including securities offerings of both public and private companies, cross-border acquisitions, and other general matters. His practice focuses on drafting and filing registration statements, preparing and filing for corporation formations, corporate governance, SEC compliance, and preparing and applying for public listings on national exchanges.
Prior to joining the firm, Travis practiced in-house for multiple New York State agencies, litigated for a plaintiff-side boutique firm in New York, and was a registered lobbyist in New York State and New York City. In those roles, he utilized a variety of statutory, regulatory, and policy sources to advise clients on substantive issues involving administrative, regulatory, privacy and contractual issues. While litigating in personal injury, civil rights, administrative law, and trusts and estates cases he appeared before New York City Supreme Courts, Queens Surrogate’s Court, and the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (“OATH”).
